Popular online video converter has a monero miner script!

I believe all of us are familiar of this site. Whenever you need to convert a video from a site especially Youtube this site comes up as a first entry on google.

Well I use this site for youtube to mp4/mp3 since 2016. So I’m pretty confident that this site doesn’t have any miners installed way before. I’m not sure whether this website was hacked or this was installed by the owner.

So if you are using that website make sure you close it once your download starts to stop the miner from using your cpu. Be vigilant and stay safe!
